Project Description

Butler Bridge crosses the Lost River within 5 miles of Elk Ridge Ranch. The Lost River is renowned for it’s catfish. The river is named “Lost” since it disappears into a series of sink holes into hidden underground caverns, springs, rivers and streams where prehistoric fish have been discovered. Lost River has a national natural landmark Wesley Chapel Gulf, located east of Orleans, Indiana. The Lost River flows into the east fork of the White River. White River Outfitters in Shoals, Indiana is located 9 miles from Elk Ridge Ranch. Guided fishing tours and canoe kayak rentals are available at White River Outfitters.
